Yesterday was so fun for me :) I told you all about the boston Bloggers Event I attended before, and yesterday I met back up with one of the bloggers I chatted with there, Jyotsna from CuppaJyo. It was SO fun to have time to just sit, enjoy arepas, and talk. Jyo has such a warm and friendly personality- it is so refreshing! I feel like it is harder and harder to make friends as we grow older, especially after moving to another state, so the blogging community has been so rewarding for me in the sense that it’s helped me make new girl friends! And it certainly is extra rewarding to have new friends with great style like Jyo :)

So, we took these photos in Harvard Yard by Memorial Chapel, which is just a beautiful building. It was sunny and warm during lunch, and cloudy and breezy during our shoot. It’s funny because this skirt was an amazing find at the Cambridge Antique Market so it is incredibly unique, and pretty old. As it is older, its material is a little funky. As in… heavy and hot… too hot for summer days! So now is the perfect time for me to wear this maxi. I’ve worn it with a lot of other colors and even stripes before, so today I figured I would pull out the blue tones. I don’t love the draped top now seeing it in photos, but I love this skirt so much that the not-so-perfect blouse doesn’t bug me.

I hope you’re all doing well! I’m gearing up for my birthday on Sunday (yay!) where I’ll be a quarter of a century old. BAM! Happy weekend and thank you for reading, friends!

Thank you! The skirt is a little loose actually so I threw on the belt! :)
