TGIF! I love Casual Fridays- the best day to look relaxed, yet polished and professional! I honestly think you can wear white all year, depending on the style of pant, but in the spring/summer, I wear them allll the time. It’s no wonder that I would throw them into my work routine as well! It was so sunny when we took this pictures that you can’t see the shirt really well, but it is a vibrant peach. I decided to throw on some fun wedges to add that extra kick to the look! Happppy Friday to everyone and have a wonderful weekend!

TGIF! Me encantan los viernes informales- el día de aparecer pulido, sino relajado y todavía profesional! De verdad, creo que se puede llevar blanco durante todo el año, dependiente en el estilo de pantalones, pero llevo el color mucho en la primavera y el verano. Y estos jeans, los he llevado varias veces desde que los compré el mes pasado. Y claro que los iba a llevar a trabajar un día, no?! Hacía muchísimo sol cuando sacamos estas fotos, y por eso no se nota el color de la camisa, pero es un melocotón brillante. Me puse los tacones para añadir un toque extra… sus diseño es único, no?! Felizzzz día viernes a todos y que tengan un maravilloso fin de semana!

Wahoo I fit a quick post in here today (better late than never, right?)! I wore this wrap dress to a formal cocktail hour at work here, and wanted to make it a little more fun this time with leopard heels and big sunnies! Love these shoes so much- they are realllly comfortable! These pictures are pre-Mexico… no need for long-sleeves here! Hope you’re having a great day!

Wahoo hice una entradita hoy (mejor tarde que nunca)! Llevé este vestido a un cóctel formal en el invierno, y esta vez quería usarlo de manera más informal… o sea, con tacones de estampado de leopardo! José and I both celebrated our birthday’s this past Saturday! We had a yummy chocolate-nutella cake with some ice-cream, and delicious mexican yummies. Lots of guitar playing, singing (or trying to) and fun times! Happy happy day :)

I won’t be posting tomorrow because Ive got a big conference these next few days, so Happy Weekend! :)

José y yo celebramos nuestros cumpleaños este sábado pasado. Comimos un pastel riquísimo de chocolate y nutela con helado y dulces mexicanos. Nuestros amigos tocaban la guitarra mientras que cantábamos (más o menos)… que divertido! Feliz día :)

Patty put this outfit on my second day in Mexico and when I saw her my eyes got so big with lust.. like a kid in a candy store! I loved that the blouse was colorful with a little bird print, and that she wore a bright under-tank with it. The aqua really gave the blouse an extra kick! Her fitted navy pants (they look black here, but they were navy!) are super slimming, and she looked so stylish, yet professional. This is a perfect outfit for wearing at work, then running out to dinner/date night. I love every inch of it, and I especially love the model it was on! :) I’m off to find something similar, and the great part is that I already pants very similar to those! :) Happy Tuesday!

Patty llevó este look mi segundo día en México y inmediatamente me enamoré con cada pieza de su ropa! Me encanta que la blusa tiene tantos colores en cada pajarito, y la camiseta sin mangas del color aqua añade un toque brillante. Sus pantalones (son azul marinos, aunque aparecen negros en estas fotos) son de moda y profesional, ya que le quedan perfectos. Este look, en mi opinión, es perfecto para ir al trabajo, y después salir para una noche con amigas. ¡Qué combinación! Adoro cada pulgada de su ropa y amo especialmente a la mujer que lo lleva :) Y muchas gracias a Patty por permitirme sacar estas fotos! :) Y ahora: quiero encontrar algo similar y lo bueno es que ya tengo pantalones como suyas! Feliz día martes amigos!

I have a few pieces in my closet that I would call chartreuse… or lemon-lime! I paired-up these two to make a monochromatic look of all one solid color. It is bright and cheerful and perfect for warmer days. I wore this look the last week I was in Boston before heading to Mexico and I definitely will repeat it when I return! I usually wear my peplum tops with pants, but I love the idea of wearing them paired with skirts or over dresses. I’ll be sure to try the later out soon!

Tengo unas piezas de ropa en mi closet que son chartreuse… o mejor, lima-limon! Combiné estas dos piezas para crear un look monocromático. Es brillante y perfecto para los días de sol. Llevé ese look la semana pasada, antes de irme a México, y sé que voy a volver a llevarlo otra vez. Normalmente, llevo mis camisas peplum con pantalones, pero me encanta la idea de llevarlas con faldas y vestidos.

BOW SCARF

I dressed-up our sushi date Friday night with a bow scarf… Really, it is a regular scarf (worn here) that I tied into a bow necklace. Figured I would try something new! For more great ideas on wearing a scarf, check out Wendy’s Lookbook and her video here. Amazingly talented!

And if you’re wondering about the sushi.. well all I can say is YUMMM. :) It was so fresh and perfect for a warm, almost summer, night. My favorite is the spicy crunchy salmon haha!

Matt y yo salimos el viernes para comer sushi y llevé mi bufanda en manera de moño para crear un look que era pulido sino casual. La bufanda no es nada especial, pero quería llevarlo de otra manera, porque la última vez la llevé normal (ver aquí). Para más maneras de llevar bufandas, deben ver este video que fue hecho por Wendy’s Lookbook… que talentosa!

Y si están pensando en el sushi… mmmmm fue delicioso! :) Era fresco y riquísimo.. perfecto para el clima cálido. Mi sushi favorito es el salmón picante crujiente… mmm!!
