You have all seen the lovely big neck bows lately, right? I’ve always loved them (they are very Blair Waldorf-ish!) but just haven’t gotten around to buying one. Well, I felt like this outfit was in need of one, so I decided to take a look in my belt drawer. I found this material belt (I think it goes to an old sweater that I no longer own… oops!) and tied it like a shoe-lace- it would be just as easy to use some wide ribbon for this as well. I think the bow adds a lot of dimension to what would otherwise be a pretty standard look.

I also opted for flats today because of the hemline of this skirt. It is pretty high (or short?) so I felt that wearing heels would make the look a little less classy and more trashy. If I were wearing tights then I would for sure wear heels, but with bare legs, I didn’t find it appropriate. Hemlines are always important to keep in mind when pairing shoes ;)

Thanks for reading & I hope you had a great weekend!
